Welcome to “Villa Estrella del Mar” in Salobreña!

We are a Dutch family who has lived in many beautiful places around the world, but this villa in Salobreña truly stole our hearts.
For the past 20 years, it has been our cherished retreat in the South of Spain.
The lush garden is a little paradise, with colorful bougainvillea, blooming oleander 🌸🌺🌸
fragrant jasmine, tall palm trees swaying in the breeze, and an abundance of fruit trees, it’s a place where you can truly ground yourself and recharge.
This green oasis invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy the vibrant beauty of Andalucia, in every season🌴

The Villa
A luxurious 250 square meter home with Sea views in southern Spain located between Granada and Malaga. The villa is situated in an exclusive residential neighborhood called Monte de Los Almendros. The villa overlooks the beautiful Mediterranean Sea during the day and is home to a galaxy of stars at night.

Garden with Private Pool
The garden has a private pool and is child-friendly with much native forestry including plum, fig, avocado, lemon and mango trees, not to mention the Spanish bougainvillea tree and undeniably beauteous hibiscus flowers. Outside you can also find a barbecue and dining area containing a wooden table comfortably seating twelve, where we tend to grill fresh coastal fish and mouth-watering Spanish meats.

Interior
In addition to having a lot to offer in the garden, Villa Estrella del Mar also has its gems on the inside. Inside there are three bedrooms; one with a king size bed, and the other two rooms each holding two single beds. All bedrooms and the living room are equipped with air conditioning. All bedrooms have an expansive view over the pool or the Mediterranean below the starry skies. In general, the villa features several terraces on various levels with panoramic views under the Spanish sun.

Urbanization “Monte de los Almendros”
Our villa is located in the beautiful and serene urbanisation Monte de los Almendros, one of the most sought-after residential areas along the Costa Tropical. Perched on a hillside above the charming white village of Salobreña, the urbanisation offers sweeping sea views, lush greenery, and a peaceful atmosphere — perfect for a relaxing getaway.
As our guest, you’ll receive a key to the private community area, which includes:

• A large swimming pool (open in season) for a morning workout or an afternoon dip
• A children’s pool for the little ones to splash and play safely
• A small kiosk serving drinks, coffee, snacks, and ice creams
• A brand-new paddle court – rackets and balls are available at the villa
• A tennis court and a soccer field, free to use for all guests

These shared facilities are exclusively for residents and their guests, and access is arranged through our local property managers.
